May is packed with holidays that honor exceptional people, such as mothers and the men and women in the Military Services. Andros Isle residents enjoyed a wonderful winter this year. Temperatures were mild and sunshine was abundant. We still have a few more months of the 'dry' season before the regular summer season rains of June-October.
