February may be the shortest month of the year, but there are two holidays that happen this month. Valentine’s Day, President’s Day, both take place in February! Andros Isle residents are optimistic about the promising start to 2012 indicated by improving property values and a stabilization of the local real estate market. Opportunities still abound.

We congratulate newly elected members of the Andros Isle Property Owners Association, including Laurie Briggs, Sandra Briggs, and Jane Aaron.

We also congratulate and thank our county commissioner, Paulette Burdick, who led the way to the soon to be planted beautification project on Okeechobee Boulevard.
